It has been 7 months since my surgery and I want to report that I am -85lbs. I am now 214. I feel awsome. This was the best decision I have made for myself.

Hi Romy, wanted to wish you the best. I had my surgery on the same day and I believe all will be fine. Hooray!!! for making the decision on having the surgery and you will be in my prayers.

I had my Mini Gastric Bypass surgery yesterday 3/12/01. I am sore but okay. I ate two crackers so far and Jello. I have not been sick to my stomach. My surgeon, Dr. Rutledge, is great and he said I was a text book case. I need to stay in Durham for the week incase a bowl leek occurs. This is a big fear!! Most leaks 95%happen within the first 48 hours. More updates later!
