"I have my 1st consultation on November 1, 2000. The office staff has been great. They have even called to ask how I am, check on insurance, and give me pointers.

I had my first consultation November 1, 2000. I don't think I could have asked for a more compassionate Doctor. She is wonderful and the staff at the center seems genuinely concerned. My husband was even impressed and it takes a lot for him to admit it!
She is very straight forward in her approach that the surgery is not the "only" way to accomplish the weight loss. She pushes menatlity and diet also.
I have been very disappointed in the office staff. I have faxed & left messages several times because my insurance co. says they have not received the packet of pre-determination from the Dr.'s office yet. I finally called on 12-28-00 and asked for the office manager. She offered to fax it to the insurance company for me, but I had her fax it to me and then I mailed it certified to the insurance company. I was also a little unhappy with the fact the letter from Dr. Jones was NOT signed and it said they has scheduled me for a psych consult. That has not been done at all! I am not very happy with the office staff at this point."
