"I first attended an orientation meeting at Mr. Marema's office. I was impressed to find out that he and his wife had both had the RNY surgery. Also, 95% of his office staff are post op patients. The orientation meeting was packed with information. I was glad to see how both the advantages, as well as the disadvantages and possible risks of having the surgery, were elaborated. It was very apparant that Dr. Marema's approach was very strict, yet the wealth of knowledge presented enabled one to make a decision. His office was very instrumental in clearing all insurance authorizations. His competence and his bedside manner were most professional and his approach to aftercare is most emphatic and well organized. His nurse Educator, Deborah is well equipped to provide all the pro's and con's and assisting all patients. My only regret is that often times return calls are delayed because of patient care days and their busy, busy schedule. I highly recommend Dr. Robert Marema."
