Mary-hang in there. You only have a month to go. When you start doing all the pre-op testing, the next thing you know you will wake up in the hosp. all done. Good luck!! Don't give up. My sister is 2 yrs post-op and the only thing she would change is to have had done it earlier.

Mary I'm wishing you a safe, complication-free surgery and a smooth fast recovery. I had my open RNY on Dec. 10, 2001 and I have absolutely NO regrets other than not having had done this several years ago. Its without a doubt, the best thing I could have done for myself.
