Ann Marie, best wishes to you for an uneventful surgery and a recovery thats as quick and painfree as possible. This quote is from a book my grandmother gave me before she passed away. It was one or her favorites.(Kahil Gibran) "But if in your thought you must measure time into seasons,let each season encircle all the other seasons, and let today embrace the past with remembrance and the future with longing"<P> I know what you mean about waiting, I suck at it myself...lol....It will be here before you know it. :o)

Hi, Anna I am in Pell City, Alabama I will be having my surgery in just a few hours. Mine will be at Baptist Montclair. 2-18-03 at pm. I hope all goes well for you. God Bless You will keep you posted on my progress.

Welcome, Anne Marie, to the best site available to assist we MO people through the toughest journey of our lives. The payoff is worth the effort. I also have just started the WLS journey - it is an emotional roller coaster ride. I come back here every day for my "fix" to get me through the tough stuff. Be honest with your son about all aspects of the surgery. And get your affairs in order, because we should all do it anyway, because life is very unpredictable. 9/11 should have taught us that. The benefits of WLS DO outweigh the risks. We will all support you through the journey. Isn't it great to know we are not alone??? God Bless you. SASRN :)
