"Parking for family members is convenient, but a littl costly. Worth the expense. :)"

William Homan

"My first impression with Dr. Homan was that he is very down to earth and unpretentious. I felt very at ease and comfortable from the moment I walked into his office. (By the way - at that very moment - the sky opened up and there was huge clap of thunder at the precise moment Dr. Homan and I shook hands) As our meeting went on - my opinion of him was that I was very impressed. He did not "sell" the surgery to me. He explained every single detail and gave me the good, the bad, and the ugly associated with it. He explained every risk and even told me there is a remote chance that I could die from this surgery. I was most impressed with his team of aftercare specialists. His emphasis on lifelong aftercase was something that impressed me quite a bit. He emphasized that surgery is just a tool and that the hard work comes afterwards and is done soley by me with the help of the aftercare specialists - including support groups, counseling, nutritional therapy. Overall, I would rate Dr. Homan overall very good. To me, his ability as a surgeon is more important then his personality - although, Dr. Homan has a wonderful, easygoing personality. Oh, and he very patiently sat there and answered every one of my questions - and I had two type written pages worth. :) An hour and half later - I left his office loading with information and feeling quite confident."

Denise Addorisio

"My meeting with Denise was very informative. She explained to me what will happen after the surgery - to my appetite and also to my food choices. She described in detail all the changes that will happen in my stomach - and not just on the types of foods I can have, but the exact quantities. She didn't sugercoat anything, yet, I walked away with confidence that I will be fine. She also gave me a very comprehensive booklet that describes in more detail the Weight Loss Surgery Diet, a collaborative piece written by several people including the surgeon, Denise and many others that will take me through the first three months. Of course, I will have followup appointments with Denise every 3 weeks for the first three months, but that is something I will need - just to be sure I'm doing things right. I felt more confident in my own ability to get through this surgery after I spoke with Denise."
