Hi Mary! I had to respond to your post, because I could really relate. I am so much like you...making decisions based on what other people think or how other people will be affected, instead of what's best for me. Your issues are very much weight related--not your physical body size, but the change that has gone on w/in you MENTALLY. Once you get the weight off, you have more self-esteem, more strength, and more desire for the life that you deserve! Go with your gut--you deserve to be happy...what a shame to lose all your weight and still live in an unhappy life! I've always said, better to be happy and be alone, than be unhappy with the wrong person. Do what's best for YOU! Good luck! IT'S A GOOD LIFE!

Mary, I had the endiscope done 2 weeks ago...It does not hurt at all, and I do feel sOOOOOOOO much better!! GOOD LUCK! Debbie

Mary, This is called a stricture and it is pretty dang common if you believe it. What they do is an endoscopy, they numb your throat and put you in a state of bliss....hahah really they put in an IV with an anesthetic that keeps you just at the point where you can do things they ask, but you are feelin no pain!! Afterwards you will feel 100000% better. DO IT you will not regret. Just make sure you have someone to drive you home afterwards because you will be unable to drive.
