Hi Jackie!!! How are ya? I cannot tell you how blessed I have been to meet you, Vikki and the other ladies in our little group! You all have really been so wonderful to take the time to tell us your experiences and inspire us daily like you do! I cannot wait to be over there in Jackson and get to bug you to death with the call bell -- JK! Hehe! Feb 12th cant come fast enough for me! You really look awesome though and thanks so much for being such an inspiration! Lea

JACKIE~~ Sorry to hear that you are having some complications. I am praying that you will have a speedy recovery.

Vikki C. 21 years, 7 months ago

Jackie needs support right now. She is still in the hospital due to complications from a secondary infection. Her white cell count went high and they have run tests on her. They have determined it not from her surgery but bronchial or UTI infection, which is making her recovery difficult for her. Bless her heart, she passed her NG tube leak test only to have to submit to another leak test the next day which checked her for small bowel leaks. She suffered terribly when she had to drink quanities of dye with her new pouch. But thankfully she had no leaks! We don't know how much longer she will have to stay in hospital, probably keep her until her white blood count goes down. Please keep her in your prayers and if anyone has shared her experience we would love to hear from you. Vikki
