I know what you are going through. I am having my surgery on 3/26. I have been asking for a lot of hugs. We know we will make it to the other side and will be happy when we get there. We just need a lot of support now too! Going through any surgery is scary but this one is going to change our lives. If you find a way to get over the jitters let me know. I will have you in my prayers that all will go well. Sherry

Lori, I am 9 days post op lost 12 lbs and feel great would do it all over again in a heartbeat. I got real nerveous the week before so Just stay here and breathe remember after surgery to walk and drink plenti of water!!!! My prayers are with you.

Hey Lori, congrats on your new life you are about to begin. I can understand where you are coming from I am scared also and I haven't even had my first consultation yet (3/20/03). Say a prayer and leave it up to him he will get you through this and you will be okay. My prayers will be with you also.

Lori, I know how you feel. I am a little over 3 weeks pre-op and I go through times when I think I want to change my mind. But then I think about how much better I will be when everthing is said and done. Focus on the new thinner, healthier, happier you. I will keep you in my prayers. Let me know how everything goes.

Hi Lori, I wanted to write and wish you the best of luck on your surgery. I am 7 weeks post-op, and feeling good. You need to keep a positive attitude to keep yourself calm. I went thru the freaking out stage too, but it was a couple months pre-op. You will do great.~Sandy
