Thanks for your concern Melissa. I wanted to point out that follow up care is performed by a bariatric professional in one's home state upon return, and is included in the cost of surgery.

Renee, please consider that if you have your surgery in France, you will have little, if no, post surgery follow up care. According to the literature, regular examinations by bariatric professionals is one of the biggest factors in weight loss success. Whatever you decide, I wish you all the best.
