Jan 19 2003 Well here i am 5 days POST OP wow i never would have thaught i would be here on the other side.I would like to start by saying it hurts way more than anyone ever led me to believe(just being honest)ummm all went well; however the Thursday before i got discharged i ran in to some complications with the anathestic and meds,i was vomitting for one whole day so i was kept for an extra day. I was realeased and all is well now. The medication was making me ill and causing the vomitting. Once the Meds were out of my system I felt lots better. I will try to keep my page updated in a timely manner and if anyone has any kinds of questions please feel free to contact me.

Only two days till the big life changing day. I know your nervous and scared, I am and mine isnt scheduled until the 20th of this month. Just keep in mind, there are alot of people out here praying for you. Although most of us don't know one another in person, there is alot of support here on this site, and I wish you the very best. Good Luck and God Bless. I wish you a speedy recovery, and a great deal of weight loss. :)

hi! another canuck to wish you well. i have my surgery the day before yours. dr. h. is an excellent surgeon so i know you will have no problems at all. my best wishes for a speedy recovery and happy and healthy new year!

Wishing you all the best... Being scared is normal, My surgery is Jan. 27th, 2003. I am so excited that I havent had time to get scared yet! Wishing you a speedy recovery! April

January 9 2003 Well only a few more days till i am on the other side,not sure if i am more scared or more excited,it has defenately been an emotional rollercoaster in every way imaginable.i know i will be fine i guess the unknown scares me not sure if that makes sence to anyone but me but that is my biggest fear right now... I will try to update the day before i leave thanks for listening bye for now .....
