"Ok...starting over here! I haven't met with Dr. Needleman yet, but I have great referals for him. I found out that The Bariatric Treatment Centers are out of network for my insurance and that I need to go through OSU (where I work) for my surgery. He is the Director of Bariatric Surgery here and I work with one of his patients. So, as soon as I meet with him I will let you know my opinion. This is definately not something that happens in a timely manner. Good things are worth waiting for. Well, my surgeon has changed. I have my pre-op consultation with Dr. Scott Melvin on May 30th, at that appt. I will get my surgery date! Because of time conflicts in scheduling I have changed surgeons. I am impressed with Dr. Melvin as he is in charge of minimally invasive surgery and comes with many good references. Looks like surgery will be the end of June, beginning of July!!! May 30, 2003. I met with Dr. Melvin today and he is wonderful. Very informative, listened and made sure all my questions were answered. Very positive meeting...I am very at ease with him and I am ready to get the show on the road. "
