"I had my first consult with Doctor Hornbostel and was very impressed and comfortable with him. When I attended his educational seminar I felt that I had found the surgeon for me and after meeting and speaking with him I know that I have. He was reassuring and answered every question that I asked. He has a very structured program and stresses aftercare. He also went through risks and we spoke of different complications. He sugarcoats nothing. He is very upfront about the risks, and your commitment to make this work. I would rate him a nine and hope to say a ten after surgery. Of course surgical competence is the most important. However, bedside manner makes us feel better emotionally. Therefore they both are great. "
