"I haven't met with Dr. Macik yet, but my impression of his office staff is EXCELLENT! Gerry was very informative, and the nurse, Mary Francis, was a jewel about telling what to expect post-op. My first consultation is scheduled for July 30th, and they say that if all goes well I could have a surgery date before the end of the year. I am so excited!!!! I will update again after I meet the doctor.
Well, I decided to changed doctors. Although I'm sure Dr. Macik is a wonderful surgeon, I felt that the $4,500.00 deposit was excessive for my budget. So, I switched to Dr. Christopher Hart. I met with Dr. Hart on yesterday, Aug. 4th, and he was very nice. Dr. Hart seemed shy, but very informative. I can't believe I'm on my way to insurance approval. Next on my list of things to do is the psychological evaluation.
