"I had my consult with Dr. Livingston mid Feb.
and found him very nice..He answered all of
my questions, and he was not rushed. I
thought that his staff was excellent..
efficient, warm and careing. They were able
to answer questions and they seem to
have it all together.
His aftercare is very structured...Prior to
even seeing him I was sent a booklet
detailing everything, from prior, to hospital,
to aftercare, foods (from day one thru
3-4 months) no suprises..Also complete
details about what type of surgery he does.

I think that surgical competence is the most
important..but if you could have a great
bedside manner this is an added plus.
UCLA (where Dr. Livingston is) also has its
own on-line support group..I find this very
helpful as a lot of people post it, and seem
to be very honest about their experience."
