Dr. Roll was fantastic! I had waited over six months to get this appointment. (I had to change insurance carriers.) He brought me and my husband into his office we talked for over an hour. Dr. Roll explained the entire course of events prior, during and after surgery. He seemed to understand my feelings and lack of success in all other methods without me saying a word! Dr. Roll made sure he presented all the info personally and that both of us understood what was going to happen.I plan to meet with his nutritionist on 1/7/00, so I will add to my comments after meeting her.

Everyone is great! Sally the nutritionist is wonderful, and the have a support group that meets monthly. I feel this is a great incentive to see people going through it and those who have made it to their goal! All of the support is great!

Dr. Roll made a special trip to the hospital on my discharge day. I had problems with some of the medication and he came in personally to make sure I was getting a good pain medicine that didn't make me sleep all day. He has kept the nurses in check during his visits. He is very picky about his patients and makes sure they get good nursing care!

Dr. Roll is great! He even called us around midnight on a Saturday because I had excessive vomiting. He really cares about his patients although he is a no-nonsense kind of guy.
Summary - Dr. Roll and his staff are great! Barbara and Arleen make you feel warm and fuzzy. Sally the nutritionist is smart, informative and cares about every patient. He is strict on pre-surgery education and post-surgery follow-up. There is even a monthly support group!
Dr. Roll addressed all of my concerns and fully explained the risks. He is a great surgeon, and truly cares for his patients."
