"I was referred to Dr Oh by my family phyician. He told me that I would not have any problem understanding him and he was right. Any time he talks too fast for me I just slow him down and ask him to repeat what he said. He made me feel comfortable from the beginning. He explained the risks in detail.
He gives out a booklet that answers any questions you could have. Its terrific.I used the booklet to explain what I was doing to friends & family. I did wish he would give more information about what to expect in the pre-testing. I was scared to death about having the "scope" not knowing just what would be happening. Would I be awake? Would I feel anything? These questions were not addressed. Well, I was awake but given an injection that made me relax and I didn't even know what he was doing. It was over before I knew it. I needed a second one a few weeks later and was not as nervous knowing what the outcome would be.
The day I was admitted I went in with total confidence. The hospital staff was great.I knew in my heart I was doing the right thing and with the right surgeon. He was in to see me before surgery and right after.
