12/27 Well hello all!! First I want everyone to know..with all the research I had done..nothing prepared me for this surgery..It was very tough..but I am here and well..and thanking God all went fine..I still have the G tube ..which I will keep for a while..and my incision is beginning to get infected..going to see the Dr. in the morning..pray I continue to recover..my nurses were " Heaven Sent"..LITERALLY..wonderful to me the entire time!!! DEKALB MEDICAL IN GA!! they said they had never seen anyone do so well so fast..I had a hard time believing that..it was tough..my husband and my family have been a tremendous support along w/ all the wonderful people I have met on this site..thank you for my angel Trina..she was so kind and HILARIOUS!God Bless to ALL!!

I spoke with Alicia husband tonight and she is doing well. She has been walking and following her doctors orders. She is doing well with keeping food down and she may be able to go home on sunday. Another blessing...Peace.

Wonderful News!!! Alicia is out of surgery and is doing fine. I spoke to her DH, Terry and she is in some pain but her surgeon said all went well and he expects a uneventful recovery. Another WLS Blessing!!!! I will check back with her this evening or in the morning to see how she is...I am so happy for her, she is so looking forward to this wonderful journey.
