"I met Dr. Kemmerling in January. I was very impressed with the time he took to discuss the surgery with me. He answered many questions and told me not to make my decision for surgery until thinking it over further. I had at least an hour appointment with him. His nurse Annette is simply wonderful! She always took time to answer my questions via the phone...and I had many! She called me after my insurance company phoned her with the approval after reviewing my appeal. The rest of the office staff seem extremely friendly though Annette actually took care of almost everything including faxing the initial request for approval for me. I have read many "nightmare-ish" stories on here about some office people shuffling our initial insurance requests for weeks. I am thankful that it wasn't like that in my case.
I was fortunate to find someone online who had RNY surgery with Dr Kemmerling in April and she said his bedside manner and surgical competence was excellent!
I will post more when I become a post-op but have faith that my review will be about the same as hers!"
"David is a NP and works with Dr.Potts. He was FABULOUS!! He answered all my questions before and after the sleep study. He has superb "bedside manner". My sleep study was done at St. Vincents Hospital in Green Bay where they have had a sleep study program for many years. The only problem i have run into was the cost. My insurance (PPO plan)does not have any sleep or respiratory specialists working with them so i have to pay 30 %. Better than 100 % by me :)"
