"Cy-Fair is an okay hospital. I was very comfortable having my surgery there because of my doctor. The care received once I was in a room was hit and miss. Some nurses were beyond excellent and others were average to poor. "
"I found Dr. Wongsa to be very nice and personable. He was honest, upfront, and was very clear about what was expected from me. His nursing & office staff are all very friendly and sweet. I have never felt this comfortable at a new doctor's office. I had to wait about 45 minutes to see him but it was a great opportunity to talk to some other patients who already had the surgery. I chose Dr. Wongsa for his surgical skill reputation and the fact that he only does the LAP RNY. I really felt like his main concern was my health and would recommend him to anyone. He does not have a "formal" aftercare program except for follow up visits for a year. Some of his patients have started a support group at Cy-Fair Hospital and that information is available on the hospital website. I think having to be more self-reliant will help with long-term succes. Now I'm just waiting on insurance approval!!!"
