"I liked Dr. Spaulding from the start, however I was a little concerned that I did not have a physical exam with her at all prior to the surgery. I guess she figured my PCP had take care of all of that, she did have all records after all. At first I was told that I would not qualify, not heavy enough, but I was tested for sleep apnea, which was confirmed. I got accepted last November and just had my surgery July 10, 2002. They have a very strict protocal about who will be accepted. They have a structured aftercare program. I was fully informed of all the possible risks. I have been impressed with Dr. Spaudling and all of her staff."
