"My first impression of Dr. Meilahn was that he is a humble man. I have been able to keep that impression of him over the last six months that I have been working with him.
For the most part I have enjoyed working with his staff.
Patience is key in working with Dr. Meilahn and his staff. I would say that since patience is necessary after the surgery, he wants all of his patients to learn it before going throught this drastic and life impacting procedure.
I will have a support group once a month after the surgery. I am not sure how often I will see him after the surgery. All of the risks were addressed before the surgery.
Overall, I am very pleased with Dr. Meilahn. He has a great bedside manner and surgical confidence."
