Dear Emley, I just came across your page and I had to tell you I think your doing fantastic!!! I had my wls on March 22nd 2004 and have lost 77 pounds in 3 months, and I thought that was good, But I see what you have lost so much so fast, Keep up the great work! I am proud of you! I am three weeks out and went to the Dr. this morning, I have lost 63 lbs! I used the regular scales and regular blood pressure cup for the first time in a long time. Still recovering from surgery - I have energy but not much strength..but I know it will come.

Yes my husband is right - I am cooking for everyone who comes by the ranch - but it is because I am cleaning out the freezer!

My wife was only in the hospital for one night. She is doing great - she is cooking everything in the kitchen for me and I will soon be on some type of Weight Loss program myself. She seems happy but I can tell she is frusterated when someone around her eats - and she can't - she is a strong person and will get this in control soon without a problem for sure..

Emley, CONGRATS on becoming a LOSER! I hope to be joining the losing side myself soon. I wanted to wish you the best of luck in your new journey. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers for a successful and uncomplicated surgery. :-)

Hi Emeley, I'd say don't be nervous but, heck, I was nervous. Of course it was all for nothing (except I burned a few extra calories) because my surgery went just fine. For me, the week before surgery was harder than the week after. Pesky nerves. Anyway, remember to keep it positive. That includes having only positive people around you. The negative ones are just ill informed and will drive you nuts. I hope all your health and weight-loss dreams come true,
