Hey guys! Great news reguarding Loetta Dennett, She is doing great! Her friend Carols writes that she be coming home today, Wednesday. Her meds have been reduced to Tylenol 3's. She is up and walking around. Loretta told Carol that she has already lost 30lbs. I hope to speak with her today. Her family will be so happy to have her home. Lets hope for a speedy rehab. One more of us on her way to a healthy and fuller life. Thanks be to God.

I recieved an E-mial from Loretta's good friend Carol today with an update on Loretta as of Saturday. She is off Life support and oxygen. She is breathing well on her own now, but still shallow. She is still in ICU, if she continues to do good they will have her out for Mother's Day. This has been a long week For Loretta and her family and friends.If she gets into a regular room I'm going down to riverside to see her. I know that this is excatly what all of us (pre-ops) fear the most.

Hello everyone, I am a very dear friend of Loretta's, I have know her since 9th grade. My name is Carol. Loretta is extremely important in my life, she has helped me through many rough times, now I am here to help her. Although I am not in her shoes, I was terrified of her having this surgery, but Loretta is a very determined person when she sets her mind on something. She knew she was going to have this surgery no matter what anyone said to her, I pray to God that everything works out. Jim, her husband, who is an angel in his own right, has been by her side constantly throughout this trying time for all. She is resting well this evening. Doing much better than yesterday. Jim states that she is getting her color back and that she is only receiving 50% oxygen now. She is breathing somewhat better on her own. Her white cells have decreased and the fluid in her lungs is clearing up. Jim has gone back up to the hospital for a short time and then to take his son to hockey. I was at the house getting her youngest daughter ready for a prom this evening. Loretta would have loved to see her daughter, radiant at such a young age. She has four beautiful children who love her dearly and are praying for her quick recovery. They all need her at home. Please continue to keep Loretta in your prayers. Loretta is a strong woman and will pull through this with flying colors. I love you always Loretta, you truly are a BEST FRIEND! ~Carol~

Just wanted to say that I am praying for Loretta Dennett and I am believing that everything will work out okay. God Bless
