Hi everyone! It's good to be back... Thank you all for your prayers and tips...Iam two weeks post op (open Rny) everything went well w/ no complications... The staff at Addison was spectacular!!! All my fears have gone and I am happy to join all of you on the "other Side"... Special thanks to my Angel!!!!!!! Loretta, you are a ture gift... Ava Lee, thank you so much for those sheets they where a great help... This is such a great site I don't think that i would have done as well with out it.... Your all Angels... THanks again, Alma

Hi Everyone I have great news, Alma is going wonderful. She is a inspiration to all future WLS patients,she has followed all the rules and has been rewarded. Alma is coming home tomorrow just 3 days after open RNY...... she is drinking liquids and eating surgar free popicles. thanks to everyone for keeping her in your prayers........

Ok everyone our prayers are being answered, Alma is doing wonderful. She has been up walking every couple of hours. she sent her husband home thats always a good sign..LOL I spoke to her at 8:30pm this evening I couldnt beleive it was her. She sounds great she said tomorrow they will start her on clear liquids and they took her ng tube out this morning. If all goes well she will be home Thursday so please keep her in your prayers....................

Hi Everyone I'm Alma's angel, Loretta.. Alma's husband Arnie just called and said she was doing great. Her surgery was this afternoon open RNY at 2:30pm and he said it lasted about a hour, she has already been up walking and doing her breathing exercises. She has had a few ice chips and will get up around 12:00am to walk a little more. Arnie said she is in some pain, but she has the, make me feel better pump......So please, everyone keep Alma Hinojosa and her family in your thoughts and prayers. I will keep everyone posted...........Loretta

Hi Alma.......My surgery is Monday also...we can start celebrating our "new and improved" lives...well...maybe not for a couple of days....=-) Wishes for a speedy recovery and good luck!

hi alma you will be in my thoughts and prayers for the next several days. just keep remembering the great out come of all this......... you will look and feel wonderful, you can run and play with those 2 great boys....... remind arnie to call me, i will call btc hosiptal for updates. take care, god bless you..............loretta
