WOW! What a differenc four and a half months makes! In June of 2001 my weight was 420 pounds....as of today my weight is 297 pounds! That's 123 pounds gone forever! I am very careful to get all of my required protein, vitamins, calcium, and liquid supplements in every day and everything is absolutely wonderful. I'm wearing jeans and growing "out" of my clothes so fast that it's hard to keep up. Oh, but what a fabulous problem to have. :-) WLS was the best decision I've ever made and I hope all of you who are beginning your weight loss journey fare as well. Good luck and God Bless. Debbie

Hi all! This is Debbie's husband Jeff with an update. All went well yesterday. Surgery was at 7:00 and lasted about 3 1/2 hours. Dr. Miles said that everything went great. She was in a lot of pain afterwards, but the anesthesiologist finally found a good vein for her meds. She spent the night in SICU, but should be in a room today. Thanks for everyone's support.
