Zaza, read you post on sleeping, I know it is not natural but, I like Ambien 10mg from my dtr....very safe, very mild...I live in NYC right by the world trade ceter and it did wonders for me the month after 9/11 and also the 2 wks before my wedding in November. I still use it now and then post-op...GOod Luck!

I was not always overweight. In fact, almost all the way through school K-12 I was the smallest person in the class. When I graduated from high school, I weighed 102 lbs. and when I married, I weighed 112 lbs. Even after two pregnancies one year apart, I weighed 116 lbs. However, a troubled marriage and another pregnancy seemed to do the trick. I began to gain and gain. The more I weighed, the more depressed I became, and the more I ate to comfort myself. Not that I didn't try. Weight Watchers, bariatric physician programs, and diet pills were all acquaintances of mine. I lost, oh yeah, and then gained it all back -- sometimes double. Even after I divorced and was remarried to a wonderful man, I could not shed the weight -- no matter how hard I tried. I researched WLS for over two years, knew people who had it, and thought long and hard before I decided to commit to it. On 3/4/02, I had Lap RNY (proximal). To date, I am down about 55 lbs. I'm glad I made the decision, but realize that it is a lifestyle change and not "a magic bullet."
