Congrats! This is so awesome. You have done such a remarkable thing here. I go for surgery on Dec 17th....can you give me any pointers on how you have done so well? Did you have an open RNY? How is your food diet? Please send me some info. I am very anxious to be as successful as you. {hugs}

Hello all! It has been almost three months since surgery which was July 10, 2002. So far I have lost 100 pounds WOO-HOO!!!! For those who have not had surgery it is such a wonderfull feeling. Both physically and emotionally. Don't get me wrong it isn't easy, but in the long run it is sure worth it. On the day of surgery I was 398, now as of October 2, 2002 I am 299. Well, that is all I have to say for now. For all of you out there awaiting approval, surgery whatever I wish you the best of luck. Believe me, it is well worth the hassel!!!!!

Hello everyone, Well almost two weeks since surgery and everything is going well. I get my staples out today so I am very excited because they are starting to itch.

Hi Glenn! I know you had your surgery just a couple days ago - I wish you all the luck in the world. Dr. Gaskin is a wonderful doctor and knows what he's doing. I am 7 weeks post op and have had no problems. Good Luck & God Bless!1!
