"I scheduled my consultation with Dr. Rohrscheib for December 6, 2002. My first visit was fairly lengthly because Dr. Rohrscheib spent a lot of time explaining the surgery. I went in to his office hoping to have this done by laporoscopy only to find out I am not a candidate for that due to previous abdominal surgery. He is starting to do gastric bypass by laporoscopy and did his first one last week but I understand that it turned out to be an open. The Dr explained all the complications seriously but did not scare me. Overall, I had a good impression of him when I left the office and felt confident that he would be a good choice for me. "
