My supervisor gave me this prayer and i'm passing it onto you --> MUSTARD SEED FAITH "I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, move and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you. Matthew 17:20. My sister gave me this prayer-->LETS PRAY: Our father who's in heaven tomorrow morning is my day and everyday that I will have total faith in you. I pray that you will be with the surgeons and all that will have contact with me. I pray that you have your guardian angels surrounding me I am going with total confidence in you. I believe you assigned the best surgeons, doctors, nurses etc and over all you are doing the work and I am trusting you and my will, will be done..... In Jesus Name Halleluyah.. So all you have to do is have the faith with no doubts the Lord is going to bring you through it--> BE STRONG and of good courage; be not affraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. JoSHUA 1: 9 YOUR GOING TO DO GREAT. (*.*)

11/5/03 Well.........it's exactly 15 days, some hours and a wake up until the big day and I am BUGGING!! So much to do, so little time!! I can't believe that I'm so close. I went to my PCP yesterday and found out that I've lost 17 lbs!! WOOHOOO!! Back in August I was weighing 358Lbs (my all time high). Now I weigh 341 lbs. Divine Inspiration! Praise God! My PCP also told me that he was so proud of me for making this decision!! Now my PCP is a great doctor but he is a bit stern and gruff. I have been his patient for 7+ years and we have had our difficulties because of my weight. Over the years I have become very attached to him becuase he treats the whole person, not just the symptoms. We had a heart to heart and he expressed to me that he has felt heartsick for his obese patients knowing the difficulties that we face physically. He hugged me and said he can't wait to see me after WLS. Well you know I was crying and all because I'm such a mush. I guess I never thought that he cared like THAT!! I mean he is an excellent, thorough doctor but I wouldn't say that he was warm and fuzzy..lol. He sat and talked to me and hugged me a few times AND even went and got one of his collegues that had WLS to talk to me. All I have to say is that you never know about people. This journey has so far been such a wonderful experience for me. I know that God will guide my surgeon's hands and I will have a sucessful surgery and an uuneventful recovery!! I AM BLESSED!!
