"I met Dr.Scott Melvin for the first time today at my consult appt. He was very kind and informative. He answered all of my questions that I had made a list of. He didn't make me feel rushed or that any of my questions were stupid. The office staff was pleasant and very helpful. Betty at the front desk is personality plus as well as Rita the office secretary. Dr.Melvin emphasizes pre-care and post care repeatedly.
He has a very structured aftercare program and encourages support group along with that.
Dr.Melvin went over all surgery risks and especially problems that may come up due to my health problems. He never once sugar coated anything. He didn't make my husband feel left out of the conversation and we both felt at ease with him as a surgeon and and overall pleasant human being. He is head of his surgical team so that speaks for his competence and his personality was excellent.
Karen was his nurse and even though she seemed quiet she was right on the ball in getting all of the finishing details in order to my schedule as well as theirs."
