Geez I am sorry you have to wait. what a bummer! Just a note to make you smile a little....My doc will require me to be on clear liquids for 2 WEEKS prior to surgery. YUK! lol anyway maybe that makes 2 more days not seem so bad!....Good Luck and I hope everything goes really well for you!

How DARE your surgeon go and have a baby at a time like this!!! Doesn't she know how stressful a time this is for you? LOL Just kidding, sweetie. I'm in the same boat, because my surgeon just had a baby last month. It's just not fair that they have to put OUR surgeries on hold or delay just because THEY want to have a family!!! I'm sorry, I'm just trying to ease the anxiety a bit. At least it's only another 2 days... Although I know that those 2 days can seem like YEARS, especially when you're on a clear liquid diet. Good Luck on your surgery, and I'm praying for a speedy recovery for you!

Hi all who have sent me warm and supportive messages. My surgery has been postponed for 2 days. My surgeon and his wife will have their 3rd baby tomorrow. I was very disappointed and had already was more than half way through my clear liquid pre-op, bummer. I personally felt that I had worked with the surgery scheduler carefully to avoid this very situation,knowing their baby was due in mid-June. Well, the stork was in a hurry. I am more at ease this evening, but I start the clear liquid/ pre-op prep agian in the morning. I better lose a aq pound or two from all of this frustration and anxiety. I will have to remember whe I wake up tomorrow morning this isn't the day but soon, very soon. I'm hanging in there with all my support people and my angels. Thanks everyone ; )

In all things Remember,that the one above loves you,that He holds us all in his loving arms,He knows each of us by name.He said anything you ask for in "my name" will be given to you.So in His name I pray for you,that you be given strength, endurance,love,peace and most of all long life.In Jesus' name.
