I am praying for a speedy recovery, so far I'm doing great. I had mine on 04/30/04 with 3 of our group from the office, and when i left the hospital they were doing fine as well. walk, breathe, and sip and you will do fine. love and prayers Susan

Hi Abby, I'd say don't be nervous but, heck, I was nervous. Of course it was all for nothing (except I burned a few extra calories) because my surgery went fine. I had more soreness than pain but nothing that couldn't be handled. For me, the week before surgery was harder than the week after just because of those pesky nerves (and I thought I was calm.) Remember to keep it positive. That means keeping only supportive people around you. The negative ones are just ill-informed. I hope all your health and weight-loss dreams come true,

HAPPY ST. PATTY'S DAY TO YA! I have Some Zen Wisdom for you - Nothing exists but momentarily...One thing flows into another....observe things as they are, let everything go as it goes. This is to put everything under control in its widest sense.***You will find this to be the best thing you could ever have done for yourself and your family. I know I did. May God keep you at this side as you travel this new journey. You will have ups and downs, fears and joys.
