"Dr. Floyd is one of the best bariatric surgeons in this state. He was very open and frank with me and did a fantastic job on my surgery 11/18/03 had a gall bladder removed and an open rny with no complications. I had a BMI of 52 I think and diabetes type II, sleep apnea, arthritis and high blood pressure. I no longer have high blood pressure and diabetes, my arthritis has not bothered me since the day of surgery and I sleep without my CPAP machine. I am 35 days out of surgery and have lost 47 pounds. I developed a seroma(liquid beneath the incision) and have had a longer time with the healing of the incision as a result. I would rate Dr. Floyd an 11 on a scale of 1-10. He is also one of the few Drs. in the state that will do revision surgeries and this speaks volumes to me. Everytime I have met with him he has been very personable and interested in how I am doing. "The nurses on the main floors need education in operating the bariatric beds it would be nice to train folks first instead of thrusting new tools on them without training"
