"My first impression of Dr. Capella was through the descriptions of two close friends that had the surgery with him--they both felt he was warm and competent, and felt assured that they had received good care. So, when I got brave enough and went to see him, I was surprised to find him to be not the most congenial. I am a single mom and could only be in the office that day with my kids in tow...and they had me waiting and waiting and waiting, which was really upsetting! (It was a two hour drive for us to get there). This time around, when I went to see him and submitted to my new insurance, my impression was different. He was friendly, informative and positive. And even if he wasn't...I have two close friends who are freed from their obesity forever and feel great for the first time in their lives! That's the best reference I could imagine!
Dr. Capella was very honest with me about the procedure, the risks, and he helped me set realistic expectations for weight loss. I think that I am best off if I am armed with the truth, and he certainly conveys honesty!
