"This group is the best! I was seen close to the scheduled time of my appointment. After the personal work with both Nancy and Dr. Macik, the two doctors held a group discussion group for the five or six of us who were potential surgery patients. Dr. Waits (one of the nicest people I have ever met) led the discussion about the history of obesity surgery. We were all encouraged to ask questions, which we did. Dr. Waits was recommended to me by a family member of mine, who is also a physician. Karen is the office manager and knows what she is doing in all matters, especially working with the insurance companies. I had also checked out another Atlanta physician through his web sites and what he mailed me.....no, thanks. What a difference you can tell in attitude! Dr. Waits and Dr. Macik are the ones for me.
