Jay B. Prystowsky

"First impression: Well studied, learning and trying new techniques (I will be one of his first Lap RNY's) Impression is same today: pre-op yet will reserve at this date...so far so good. Staff: Very busy office, but do stay on top of patients, Thank you Roseann...However The Wellness Institute...Continues to amaze me, I am spoiled. What did I like least about him: Excellent Surgeon, warm, friendly, personable. Great bedside manner What future patients should know: GO RUN!!! to them that is, I have met his past patients...fantastic. Aftercare: YOU HAVE TO COMMIT TO IT!!! Structured aftercare: Yes including support group. Did he address risk of surgery: IN BLOODY DETAIL! (that's a good thing) Rate him overall: 10 STARS Which is better: Surgical competence is most important...I don't think we will be meeting on a social basis...later...rather be put together right! But bedside manner, helps with healing process...puts mind a place condusive to healing. Still pre-op...but know I am in the right place...Northwestern Hospital is a teaching hospital...and if our surgeries help others with their obesity problems...we are doing the right thing...arn't we... I state that these were just my personal impressions of my own experience and that I am making no statements about what others may experience...What a ride this has been."
