"I have not yet met Dr. Rumsey but he did conduct the seminar that I attended on 11/2. He seemed like a very personable, friendly, well-educated person and I liked him very much. I have been informed by others that he is "one of the best surgeons" around. I am looking forward to meeting him. I have only had dealings with his staff over the telephone and they have been very helpful and friendly.
7/12/00 update -- Dr. Rumsey performed open RNY on me 2/8/00. My surgery went beautifully, I had no pain or discomfort of any kind. Dr. Rumsey was caring, attentive, even came in on his day off to check on me rather than letting the doctor on call follow me. He said he preferred to check on his own patients. He is fantastic."
