HI Melissa, I have Empire of NY, state employes Ins. I was going to have Lap RNY with DR.Inabnet Of Mount Siani they told me that my insurance had been used & approved. Then a month Later I got a call saying they were "out of Network" & I need to pay $300 for my consult. So I called the Ins company. THey said you need an in network Doc or you pay out of pocket starting at 20%..OUCHHHHHHHH, so I Called them back & asked for a book of local Surgeons & Found sevral in Albany that take our insurance in FULL....Any questions I can help you with, feel free to email me!!
