Wow! I can't resist posting - I broke the 300 mark! I'm now down to 297.5 from 333 - 35.5 pounds LOST FOREVER since WLS on 8/21! Happy Happy Joy Joy! I feel soooooo great! Lots of energy and able to walk a lot easier. All my prayers are with those undergoing surgery this week and for those waiting for insurance approval or just researching. May all your journeys be blessed and smooth! {{{{{HUGS}}}}}

Home Sweet Home! While the staff at FVRH was absolutely the tops, there's no place like home. I've been home since Monday. Everything went off without a hitch. I have almost no pain (as long as I don't walk into shower doors - LOL) and am able to tolerate everything on the liquid diet so far. To date - one week out - I am down 16.5 pounds!!!!!!! I know it's all water, but that's still weight I don't have to carry around anymore. Thank you all so much for your wonderful words of support and your prayers. Talked to a mutual co worker at work today and she had called Joy's Husband, Bill and he said Joy came through the surgery fine and was doing well. I did not get any more specifics I will post more when I hear anything.

Well Joy The big day is almost here and I am counting the hours with you, 7:30am that was the same time as mine and I will be up early Thinking and praying for you,I am sorry I missed you at work and didnt get to say Good Luck.......So GOOD LUCK and GOD BLESS and I am looking forward to seeing you on the losing side and seeing you shrink before me and tease you about the skinny minnie effect, (( we will get Minnie Mouse Tee Shirts to have our pictures taken in )) I love your great upbeat attitude and that will carry you through everything...Good and Bad !
