Hi Mary! I also got banded by Dr. Rodolfo Sanchez in Monterrey. I was operated on 12/17 and i am down 25lbs. I just got my fill on 2/14. I love my band I do not regret my band not one bit. Don't let what any person regardless to wether they are a doctor or just a regular joe schmo tell u that what you did was wrong. We did this for our health. Hello Mary, congratulations on your upcoming surgery! I just had my laparoscopic rny 5 days ago on 1/10 and I know how nervous and excited you are, if I could have seen my outcome I would have not worried so much because it went very well and I feel great! So try to relax and have confidence that you are in very capable hands with your surgeon and you are making a choice that will change your life forever in a very positive way, you are going to look and feel great! ~~~~CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR UPCOMING SURGERY. ~~~~ Your big day is almost here, this is the day, your new life will begin, I cant promise it will be easy, cant say it will be hard, I can say that with all the complications and everything I had to go through, It was well worth it. I have never felt better in yearsss, I’m off all medications, have sooooo much more energy. So if you hit a bump in the road, hang in there and remember it will alll be worth it in the long run. Prayers that the Lord will guide your surgeon’s hands and you have a speedy recovery. . Looking forward to hearing from you on the loosing side. Huggs and Prayers
