Shady Grove Adventist

"Double rooms become very small with all the equipment needed at the bedside after surgery (i.e. IV machines, monitors etc.). Then if visitors are in room becomes very crowded and unrestful, especially if the roommate is having the visitors etc. In my opinion, the hospital,in general, needed to be cleaner, especially the floors and the legs on different equipment brought to the room. When we needed our bathroom cleaned before anyone could use it again, my roommate and I were told "we only have 1 housekeeping person on the entire surgical wing of 2nd floor." Needless to say, it took a while."

Barry Greene

"I went to my first support group meeting with a friend in November, 2004, where Dr. Greene presented the program. I thought he was very thorough and honest with his answers to all questions. Since that meeting,I have become a patient of his and had by gastric bypass performed by him. He is very competent, very concerned with patient care and health. I would highly recommend him to anyone who is willing to follow Dr's orders. In the office, Julia and Shelly are most helpful and will answer any questions also. Dr. Greene has a wonderful pre and post op support foundation with meetings twice a month. Dr. Greene has rules one must follow in order to accomplish their goal of bypass surgery. These include lots of pre testing, dieting before surgery etc. I was fortunate to have my surgery 5 days earlier than thought because Dr. Greene did cancel a patient who had not followed his instructions and I got their spot!"
