"Dr. Clayton stroke me as a conscientious, dedicated surgeon. She spends quite a bit of time with you discussing all of the risks with surgery. She works with Spectrim at Brotman Medical Center and Surgilite at St Lukes Hospital in Altadena. These programs arrange the pre-op testing for you, literally steer you through the hospital from test to test, schedule the appointments with the internist and psychologist, and schedule the surgery for you, meet you on the day of surgery and take you through the hoops until you are settled in bed, visit you on the weekdays in the hospital, and get you in contact with the Dietician whenever you need it. The Dietician visits you before you leave the hospital. The nutritional program is more conservative with Dr. Clayton. It takes 10 weeks to get to solid foods. The support group meets every other Tuesday at Brotman at 7 PM. It is a good group of people. The meeting is run by the Psychologist. I guess that's about all I have for now.
