8/27/01 Thank you all for your support and prayers. My surgery went "textbook perfect" and I was in the hospital for only two nights. Tomorrow will be 7 days post op. I'm looking forward to my surgeon's appt tomorrow to take out the JP drain, and I hope he advances my diet from clear liquids to soft foods because I'm always hungry. Minimal pain, minimal nausea, and no vomiting! I've been out walking around the block a few times already. I'll keep you posted. Thanks again - Carol

Carol, Wishing you a speedy recovery and a complication free surgery. Keep positive thoughts as you move to this new and better life. I live in the Sacramento area also and I'm waiting for a surgery date. Hope we can exchange information when you are home from the hospital and feeling better.

Carol, best wishes for your upcoming surgery. I had mine last November, and I have never had a single regret. One thing that may help to remember is that the nervousness is over with when you wake up in the recovery room to your new life.

Carol~I wish you the best with your upcoming surgery.15 weeks and over 60 lbs later I can definately say this is the greatest thing I have ever done for myself.Keep us posted on your progress. God Bless~Kim
