"My first impression: very quiet, but he did take the time to answer my questions. Before meeting him, I heard through other doctors about his strong reputation and experience, so I kind of thought he would have a stronger personality. He's a gentleman.
My impression now: I really like him. He seems to be a very personal; kinda warm and fuzzy doctor.
I like the office staff a lot. They work like clock-work. I don't know what I like least about him - I don't have any complaints so far. Future patients should know not to take his quietness personally. He is just reserved.
He emphasizes aftercare quite a bit. He does have a structured aftercare program. He stresses monthly appointments and support group meetings, diet, exercise, etc. He did address the risks of surgery. I would rate him a 9 on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the highest. I think his surgical competence and bedside manner are wonderful."
