I will pray that is goes well and the your nerves are settled during this time of high stress. You will do great! I will be waiting to hear from you from the losing side!

Hi all, My pre-surgery appointment with Dr Bell is tomorrow 7/11 at 11:30, then bloodwork, etc. at Yale hospital. I am trying not to get nervous as the day gets closer. Part of it is that my husband Ed is having hernia repair surgery on Monday 7/14 and my surgery is only 9 days later. I plan to drive myself to Yale, and he will drive home. As we get closer to the 23rd, we will know if he will be able to do that, or we will call a close friend to drive there with us. I know how painful surgery can be, so I worry for Ed. My mom sent me a boxful of new jammies for relaxed wear after surgery. They are beautiful! I told her that they would be an early 50th birthday. She is my dearest friend, next to my hubby. (and lives in Florida, (where I lived for the first 30 years of my life, before I went into the military in 1983.) so I call her a lot). How I am rambling on! I am so lucky to have such a loving family, and also so many new friends online. Thank you all so much for the support. We are all in this together, but I really appreciate all of you. I will update more after I see Dr. Bell tomorrow. God bless you all.
