Paul LaBrie

"The first time I met Dr. Labrie was at a support group meeting. I went there to gather more information about the surgery. My first impression of Dr. Labrie was surprise, I guess I expected a skinny little slim trim guy. But I was very happy to see he was quite in fact an average guy. I liked the way he discussed all the diferent ways there are to loose weight and how the surgery is still just a tool. I was impressed that he did not force the idea of surgery on anyone. I thought his staff was very helpful and friendly. They seemed to show a sincere interest in me as a person. As time went by my impression of Dr. Labrie only grew stronger, I really saw a sense of concern in him. He shows me that he truely cares about me. He always incourages me and never makes me feel like a failure even though I try to make myself feel like a failure. Dr. Labrie always discusses the risk factors involved with surgery as well as emphasizing on the importance of getting your vitamins and protein in. My biggest complaint has always been the follow up visit. You do not get to see Dr. labrie unless you have a specific problem. He doesn't even remove your staples, his staff takes care of that. I have told both Dr. Labrie and his staff about this and the answer I recieved was he is just too busy. I understood that completely. But overall my entire experience has been wonderful. I would recommend Dr. Labrie to anyone contemplating the surgery. "
