Hi Ellen! Big congratulations on your surgery date! I bet you are so excited! Just hang in there and try to be patient! Don’t worry if you are nervous, scared, excited or go through a thousand of different emotions. This is all normal, so go with the flow! Had my first consult with the surgeon. And got a date! April 6th. I am pysched! :) Feel very comfortable with my decision!

Just 2 more days until my consult with the surgeon. Pysch eval went well, she said I "passed". Have done everything (lab, etc.) that was required up to this point. Just waiting.

Today I went for my pre-op test. Which seems STRANGE as I have not yet been told by the surgeon that I am a candidate for surgery. I think things are a little backwards. :) Plus I have a psych evaluation tomorrow. What if she thinks I'm nuts? So many things to wonder about. At least I should know for sure March 4th, when I FINALLY get to meet with the surgeon.

Ellen, it's going to work out okay. I know how you feel about wanting to talk about it 24-7, but you don't want to bore everyone else. We both have our visit on the fourth, we should meet.
