Mark R. Gibbs

"01/01/2005 My first impression of Dr. Gibbs was great! He was very confident and to the point! He even told a little about himself-- he's a Christian!!! His staff seemed very nice. I only met him at the seminar, but I cant wait to get my surgery date and start my new life! I give Dr. Gibbs a A+ so far! 02/25/2005 Dr. Gibbs and Carrie are AWESOME! He is a very straight forward, confident man. He came by to see me each day I was in the hospital, said that everything was great- let me go home and I feel just fine. Everything went just as he said it would. I would reccomend Dr. gibbs to anyone seeking WLS. He's the BEST!"

Baptist Health Medical Center (COE)

"This review was written on 02/27/2005 I was a private pay patient. I liked the hospital just fine the only complaints I have are: they were way over loaded with patients- I was on that ROCK HARD recovery room bed for SEVEN hours waiting for a bed on the floor that I was to go to. Also I didn't like having a semi-private room, I couldn't leave the pee-pee collecting/measuring basin in the pot, I was SO hot all the time, thank GOD I had a personal fan. And most of all, my hubby couldn't stay in there with me at night due to having a female roomate, he had to sleep down the hall in the ICU waiting room. I started requesting a private room in the pre-op room and to everyone from there on out and never got one, yet while doing my walking down the halls and back everyday I saw a couple private rooms empty - must have been a staffing problem. The nurses were great, very fast to bring me something for nausea, and for pain after they unhooked the PCA pump. All except the semi-private room and the 7 hour recovery room stay, It went great!! I would use this hospital again."
