Hi Linda, saw your note about the powdered milk. Since it has a great amount of protein, my doctors have told me I should try to add it to what ever I can - including skim milk - it doubles the protein content of the milk. Especially for the first several weeks since my protein intake will be somewhat slow and milk is easy to swallow (did I mention my surgery is Oct. 2nd.) Anyway, you can also add the dry milk to oatmeal, cream of wheat, mashed potatoes - stuff like that just so it ups the protein content. I guess you can add it to puddings too, but I'm not sure how they will tastee. The other thing I've done in the past was to add some protein powder to my oatmeal and cream of wheat - not too bad and it does the trick. Anyway, hope this helped. Best of luck to you :)
